Introduction
Les villages du bachat
Chamrousse 1700
A getaway in the Alps, surrounded by nature, mountain spirit and history.
A natural setting ideal for relaxation and adventure
Perched at an altitude of 1,700 metres in a forest of spruce trees, Le Bachat Villages offers unique views of the Taillefer Massif and the Arselle plateau. Here, nature is everywhere you look. In winter, snow covers the roofs and fir trees. In summer, the air is filled with the scent of spruce trees, while the trails beckon hikers.
A MOUNTAIN SPIRIT, COMBINING SIMPLICITY AND AUTHENTICITY
The residence consists of eight mini-villages, each comprising five to six three-storey buildings with simple, timbered architecture designed to blend into the landscape. There is no concrete here, but rather the atmosphere of a small alpine hamlet, with everything you need within walking distance: restaurants, bars, a swimming pool and wellness area, equipment hire, a mini-market, activities, and more. ‘Bachat’ means ‘watering hole’ in the local dialect. It is a nice nod to the original purpose of this place: a stopping point, a place to recharge your batteries.
